I thought I had no talent,
until I started creating.
A COLLECTION OF SMALL STORIES

Every piece begins with a mark. The story can go anywhere.
A NOTE ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hi, I’m Yilin.
I’m a visual artist and storyteller exploring color, texture, and the little stories hidden in ordinary things.
My work moves between watercolor, mixed media, and visual storytelling. I’m especially interested in how simple shapes, unexpected colors, and imperfect marks can turn into something emotional, playful, or a little strange.
My background is in Communication, which has shaped the way I think about images.
I’m still figuring out what I want to create. That’s part of the fun.
